30 ml miniatures or 300 ml dispensers: how hotels decide
Neither format is always better. The right choice depends on your guests, your housekeeping routine and how much you want guests to take home.
Start with the guest
Suites and luxury properties often keep miniatures because guests like to take them home. Business and mid-market properties often prefer dispensers for a consistent, tidy look.
Count the handling
Miniatures are replaced often, so they add stock and waste. A dispenser is topped up from a 1 or 5 litre refill, which is quicker to handle but needs a routine.
Look at waste
A refill pack replaces many small bottles, so there is less packaging to buy and throw away.
Many properties use both
Dispensers in the shower and miniatures for the vanity or as a take-home gift is a common pattern.
