Guide
How to stock an Airbnb bathroom
Guests rarely praise a bathroom, but they remember when it feels looked after. Stocking it well is one of the cheapest ways to protect your reviews.
The essentials
- Shampoo and body wash, or a single shower gel for simplicity
- Hand soap at the basin
- Body lotion for stays of two nights or more
- Spare toilet rolls, a bin and a plunger, so nothing is missing at midnight
How much to stock
Plan around guest-nights, not guests. Multiply expected guest-nights over your restock cycle by the amount a guest uses in a night, then add a buffer. Track what you actually use for a month and adjust.
Dispensers or small bottles
Refillable wall dispensers are quicker for turnarounds, cost less to run and produce less waste. Small bottles are better if you want guests to take products home or you manage a single flat. Many hosts use dispensers in showers and bottles for gifts.
Keep it consistent
The same products and the same look in every listing make your portfolio feel like a brand. Photograph the bathroom with the amenities in place.
